I left on not such a good note, many enemies as it would be.

Eh, I am still technically new. I'm from Upstate. Well, Transia originally, but I grew up Upstate.

I was here when I was in college left awhile when I dropped out.

Hopefully so but also very doubtful one does not make an enemy of the Spiderman and expect to be forgotten, no?

You made an enemy of him? [She giggles a little] You must have been desperate.

[ He shrugged a little.] He was infatuated with my lover at the time, kept claiming he could help me but in truth he simply wanted me out of the way.

Over a girl? [She chuckled a little] And I thought that was just something us normal people have to worry about.

He was a jealous type it would seem.

I'm in a...well, an apprenticeship, basically. Though I'd like to get at least my four-year eventually. [She offers a hand.] It's Wanda, Wanda Maximoff.

Michael Morbius, Biochemistry was my major, studied under Dr. Curt Conners. [ he has no idea Conners became the Lizard yet.]

So what might I has has your intrest in study Miss Maximoff?

Whatcha mean? Why I'm in the Big Apple? Needed a change of pace, kinda got tired of the dust storms in Nevada. [Okay not an out right lie, but hey beats went AWOL with a government weapon. Not that she'd use the said weapon to cause trouble with]

Yes, yes. [ he spoke before listening to her speak] Nevada, this is where Vegas is no? I've heard many wonderful stories of this 'city of sin'.

I wasn't exactly in Vegas. Went through a few times, but was too young to go to the casinos so it wasn't as fun for me.

Stayed in a small almost ghost town in the middle of the desert though. Was quiet enough for me to work while blasting music as loud as the speakers would go.

I know that feeling, when on school breaks on my parents farm in my home land I did this same thing. American rock music it scares quite a few away but very good to learn English better from.

I write my own when I'm not playing grease monkey with engines. My folks were always busy so I was pretty much allowed to do whatever I wanted. Can't grow much in the sand other than cactus and tumbleweeds.

I was going to ask, your accent... Eastern Europe?

Romania actually. Just outside of the Carpathian Mountains. Where you played with engines I captured Bats and studied them. I've had a deep love for science since I was in my early teens.

Botany and biology aren't my strong point. Guess you could say I'm a gear head. Give me tech to figure out I'm happy.

I was actually studing to be a biochemist. Working on genetics. They always said I was too smart for my own good. However your job, fixing cars and such is much more useful then studying the blood.

It keeps me busy, but I wouldn't call it a job. More of a hobby I get paid for.

That is the best kind no? The short while I was truly a scientist with my own lab I utterly loved it. The hobby one gets paid for is the best occupation. Don't let it go for anything my friend.

Not plannin' on it. Besides if I'm not kept busy with things I get to inventing. Would rather not become a female Tony.

Tony, as in the man of Iron, Stark? I've never met him but have heard very fasinating things of the man.

I've yet to meet him in person. Most the kids in my college classes idolized him. And wanted to be exactly like him. I strive to make my own name and be equals if not better than him on my own.

Probably sounds impossible doesn't it.

Not at all, I had the same dreams of Dr. Connor before I left school I wished to write my own name and be better then he.

In college you mean? Chaos theory. My apprenticeship is a biiiit more esoteric.

Chaos Theory a very interesting subject. Though I must admit you've perked mt interests on what that apprenticeship might be. You of course don't have to tell me.

That is very true. A positive way to look at life is always best, no?

Well at least until you're facing a giant robot and are out of ammo. But yeah usually. [Not that Mira's EVER been in that position... Okay at least not in New York.]
