[ Loki had an unquenchable need to know, to learn, to grow and experience. In such a time when mortal might have been something considered honorable, how could he not see it? He'd always known Asgard as false in it's gold and when he were young he thought it were because they be worshiped and admired. The other realms, good in their association with Asgard, gave them these gifts and aided in their building, but now he knows it is not so. Some larger part of him carries that ache for power and lordship. Yet some part of him wishes to see the roots of who he really is, winters and cold, and he loathes it desperately, but it only grows stronger the longer he is away from Asgard. ]
