[He holds out a half smoked joint he's pulled from his pocket, offering it to her, not at all confused or even having noticed her confusion. Her comments seems... Normal?]
It's weed. You smoke it... You know how when you got a whole bunch of problems and stuffs going on? It clears out the head and lets you think properly.
[She smiles a little at that and nods. Ghost is a strange name for a person but then again she's heard stranger. She doesn't forget her manners and holds out a hand towards him.] It's a pleasure, Ghost. I'm Guinevere, but you can just call me Gwen.
[Oddly enough he doesn't reach to shake her hand, but there's no mistaking the friendly smile. Maybe he just doesn't shake hands?]
When I was a kid, I used to want to climb the tallest trees on the mountain, but I never made it to the highest. It touched the sky so My Grandmother said I had to stop halfway.
[Oh...right. Well, she's never been denied a shake of a hand before but she just pulls it back to her side, not commenting on it. Who is she to judge how others do things.]
I used to live quite close to a wood. I used to go there all the time just for a walk when I wasn't working or helping my father. I've never climbed one before though...
[And she's going to look at him with a raised eyebrow. She's really not sure why he's finding this so unbelievable.]
...No, I haven't and I can't say I've ever had the inclination. It's not exactly something a lot of people do where I'm from. Unless they need to of course.
Well, unless they need to get away from danger or if they need to see something quite a distance away. I'm not saying that I'm not friends with trees just because I haven't climbed one before.
[She's surprised by the contact but lets him tug her along anyway]

[She looks down at herself with a confused look] I don't see any smoke.

I always share.

That's very kind of you but...I'm afraid I'm not sure what that is.

[Thinking a minute]
You really never tried it?
no subject
[She shakes her head without any hesitation]
No, never.

...If I'm honest I'd prefer the tree.

Tree it is! Trees are great. Green and shady and full of wind. I'm Ghost.

[And the poor boy just looks stunned, and a little sad.]
Didn't you ever want to?

[He wouldn't shake her hand, but he'll reach out to tug her along impatiently]
We'll find a good one, friendly and low branches for climbing!

[She's surprised by the contact but lets him tug her along anyway]
...I'm not sure I'll be able to climb one.

[And he'll contentedly tug her along until they find a suitable climbing tree]
Course you can climb one. You got arms and legs...
