Because no one tells her anything. Her eyes are wide, she only hears sounds like this in nightmares. "Soooo what is it?"

His tone is nonchalant and he shrugs. "Sounds like wolves." But it wasn't Erica or Boyd or Derek. He couldn't place the sounds at all.

"Don't be stupid, there aren't wolves in California. There are only mountain lions." Besides wolves didn't have red eyes.
