[Uh-oh, dog and a little vampire! Her bi-colored eyes lit up when he came bouncing over. Ara rescued the box with her chirping friend in it of course so it is not stepped on.]
[Fozzie looks up and barks, then pads over to greet the smallperson. He seems absolutely unfazed by her nonhuman nature, almost as if he's used to it.] *wurf* *wagwagwagwag*
Yeah, he knows a lot of tricks. [Wanda collects a few worms.] What kinda bird you have there?
Fozzie's trained as a guard dog, so he's sort of like a police officer. When he's on duty he's kinda scary. But most of the time he's just a big lovey guy with a soft spot for kids of any race. Isn't that right?
*arooor!*
Nuthatch, huh? You know, he's probably gonna need some fiber to go with those worms. I gotta pick up some kibble for his doggieness, and I don't mind picking up some crickets and mealworms too. Wanna go?
[That was a new experience! Her face registers surprise but instead of being scared miss mischief starts laughing because it tickles. He is rewarded with a very large hug around his neck. She was new to hugs and never really had one but it just happened.]
I really like him, miss. We have guard dogs at home too but I am not allowed to play with them. Fozzie is much nicer. [She is all smiles thanks to her new friends.]
He does? I did not read about that yet. [Ara stops her digging and wipes her filthy hands on her small pant legs.] I can go to?
[And she would hug her new, giant, furry, friend for a long time but sadly she had to let go so she could help her feathered friend too. She was making a lot of friends now.]
Well, that would be okay, thank you miss. What is makeup? [She holds one grimy hand out, not minding the mess at all but of course she was six and rowdy too. Training could get messy as well.]
I think so, Gavin took me by one when we went walking. [It was a rare treat but she was grateful he did. She saw puppies too, which started her begging for dog recently.]
Stuff like eyeliner and lipstick. I'm a Goth, so I'm into that. C'mon. The store's like three, four blocks off. Bet Fozz would give you a ride if you asked.
[She could talk and run too as she picked the box up, looking in on her loudly chirping friend and waiting for them to come too before she started walking.]
That would be nice of Fozzie but I like to walk, so he can walk with me! If he wants.
A Goth is someone who likes dark and dramatic stuff. Music, fashions, makeup styles, jewelry. There are lots of ways to be Goth, but we all sort of get stuck in the same box. [As they walk she points out a rather cute couple dolled up in black lace.] Like those girls, with the pale makeup and the clothes and big eyeliner.
[Fozzie chuffs and trots beside her. Wanda keeps pace, and keeps an eye out because even if the little one is a vampire, she's very OMG CHILD and doesn't trust the universe not to throw creepy assholes at her.]
I like music! I do not know much about some of the other things though. It is fun? [It was an innocent statement really. Her eyes peer at the passing couple curiously, going closer to them before coming back while waving to them.]
They seem very pretty, but different. [She was pale but did not wear make-up. People liked to be pale?]
What sort of Goth are you, miss? [She was used to giving her Gavin the slip or one of the adults, it was fun to explore when being stuck inside all the time and she carried her small knife pouch.. so aside from being told Lycans were dangerous she didn't think about it much. She was happy to pet Fozzie with her free arm and take in all the sights.]
I think we should be there soon! It has a hanging bone above the door.

Dig, Fozzie!
[He cheerfully starts digging a relatively neat hole in the ground.]

Thank you Fozzie!
Did you teach him that, miss?

What all does he know?
I read on my iPad he is called a white-breasted nuthatch. He looks like he hurt his leg so I made Gavin help me splint it. He is sort of tiny too.
[She digs her fingers in the fresh whole with gusto, seeking out a small grub or a worm to feed her friend.]

Yes, please!
Eeeee!
Here here, lemme get you some baby wipes. [She pulls a packet out of her bag.] I use them for makeup removal, but they're probably fine for mud.
Sure, of course. You know where the pet store is?
:P

I...I don't know, I guess I'm more a Leathergoth than anything. Though the leather is practical. I tend to get in a lot of fights.
[Fozzie starts to thump his tail as he catches the scent of dog biscuits and hide chews and OTHER DOGS.]
I think that's it up ahead.
