[ She's fallen and can't get up because that last mission really took the wind out of her. Rolling onto her back, she looks up at Phil with her arms splayed, legs still curled and bent to the side. ]
Hi. [ It's a pitying greeting but she does try a smile. ]
We could honor this spot as the Spot Where Janet Lay.
[ She uses him to hoist herself up, hopping to her feet and immediately wrapping her arms around his neck. ] Thankfully, you won't have to like that ol' spot on the floor forever.
Should I order a little bronze plaque? Something to last forever, seeing as I now have you standing once again.
[He said as he wrapped his arms around her middle and stepped back, forcing her to move from this spot. He smiled brightly at this] I like this spot better.
Was it a bad mission? [he asked seriously, hugging his arms around her ab it tighter with a squeeze] And here I thought being trapped for the past fourteen hours in a meeting with Director Fury and Council was tiring.
[he leaned forward to nudge his nose to hers a moment, smiling down at her.... and moving backwards a few steps, dragging her feet along] I bet this spot is nice too. [yes he might be fishing for attention with each move...]
Clint sent me off on his arrow, except I got caught midair. I got myself into a tight spot after that and took them some time to find me. But there's a happy ending, 'cause I'm here.
[ Such a sap, Jan. She's been standing on her tiptoes to keep her arms around him and laughs softly as she's dragged, tips of her ballet flats leaving marks along the carpeting. ] But what's your most favorite spot, huh?
[He knew better then to question Barton's aim, and he did trust him with his (and hers and the others) lives. He also trusted her. And she was here and safe and alright. Still, he raised a brow at that] I do like happy endings.
[He's a bit of a sap as well, so it's alright. As long as you are safe and well. He paused, glanced around, then looked at her] I have a lot of favorite spots. They generally consist of where you might be located. I like the ones best that leave small [he leaned in to kiss her cheek, next to her lips, and nudged her just a bit.] kisses, however.
Somehow, I think my location means too many variables, or something like that. [ But she does turn her head just slightly to brush her lips over his. ]
I've been everywhere, which means that you have a lot of favorite spots. [ Jan giggles again here, lifting a hand to tap the tip of her nose thoughtfully. ] So I'd just like to know your favoritest.
[Goal one made. A kiss was given and thus he leaned in to peck a kiss back, smiling a bit lopsidedly.]
You haven't been everywhere with me however. So that eliminates some spots. [He chuckled softly, pulling her along the carpet a bit further, to the couch, dropping back and pulling her down with him]
True. [ She sank down next to him, wincing before she can stop herself. ] Ah, shoot. [ Reaching down, Jan lightly rubbed a spot on her thigh, under her dress and over her leggings. There's an oval-shaped bruise that nearly runs the length of her thigh, which she'd forgotten about until now. ]
[ No use in pretending she's okay or insisting that he not worry because she knows she can rely on him to worry about her. And that is a great comfort, even in her current state of discomfort. She smiles wanely. ]
Well, no bleeding. I landed pretty hard on my side. I mean, I've been worse. [ Okay, Jan, saying that probably does not help the situation. ] Can we go back to almost making out on the couch?
[Yes, there is a small select group of people he worries about, and she makes the top of the list, for good reason. He moved to lightly rest a hand warmly on her knee, his other hand pulling her in closer again so he could give her a small kiss to the cheek, though she can no doubt tell he was concerned for her.]
I don't like it when you've been in worse though. [Though he gave her a soft smile after that] You're tough though, I know. [he said this with a small kiss to her lips]
[ A smile bloomed on her face once more and she warms to the kiss, then the second. Pride swelled in her chest each time he said she was tough. And she was. She just liked to hear it from him, since it helped her feel as if she truly belonged on this team. Constant reassurance kept her going.
But she won't talk more of that. Now she'll kiss him him full, eager for affection because goodness knows they've both had a long day apart. ]
[He gladly took the full eager kiss returning it as well. His hands slide over her waist and wrapped around her again, careful as he pulled her close, completely content to hold her close, even if just for a little while.]
[He did pause a moment, however, drawing back and looking down at her carefully. A worried look again]
Are you hurt anywhere else I should know about? [shall I kiss it and make it better... had barely been restrained from his speech just then...]
[ Janet considered this as she fell into another kiss, and another before looking up at him through her bands with the Utmost Seriousness. ] Oh, yes.
Well, I mean.
[ She smiled sheepishly and rubbed her shoulder over the sleeve of her dress. That was certainly a reasonable spot for a healing kiss, isn't it? She lifts a brow. ]
[She can have all the kisses, cus he was giving as many as she wanted.--but then that serious look, and her sheepish smile as she rubbed her shoulder. He smiled at that and leaned in, giving a small kiss to the shoulder, over the dress sleeve, before glancing back up to her, to see if there was anywhere else that was bothering her.]
[ Janet calls the shots -- but then again, when doesn't she call the shots?
She turns to face him and taps the very tip of her nose, blue eyes just a little impish, the corners of her mouth curled ever so slightly. ] And, there.
[ Good thing she is completely aware that her cuteness can get her just about anything she wants - ever since she was very small, to be quite frank. Is she spoiled? Never.
Janet nods in response to his question, chewing her bottom lip before tapping her grinning mouth. ]

[ And a moment's consideration before she extends both arms to him. ] A little help, please and thankie?

[He offered a hand down to her, taking hers and pulling her up to her feet, hands going to stabilize her if she was wobbly]

Yeah, that will not look pretty.

You're hurt?
