[Rory shook his head and walked over to hug her.] We already have a River. And I don't think the universe would survive a second. [It had been meant as a joke, but now he came to think about it he wasn't sure it entirely was.]

Rory wrapped his arms round her. "Amy." His tone was soft, and his arms were protective but there was nothing he could really say.

Amy buried her face in his shirt, quiet for a long moment, curling her fingers into the fabric.

"I'm okay," she said half-heartedly, looking up at him. "I know we'll be okay."

"I love you," she whispered, her voice barely audible. She hadn't opened her eyes just yet, resting her forehead against his chin.

Amy knows in her heart that he is right. They have proven time and time again that they can survive anything the universe throws into their path.
