There's always a choice, isn't there? What are you avoiding at home?

Unfortunately, no there isn't always one. If I decide to dodge my responsibilities, someone will come looking for me. [He puts his hands to his chin in thought.] Just a couple of small things. Small personal things.

Huh. Alright. Looking at it that way, maybe you should just man-up and swallow it. *Shrugs.* Please yourself. Sounded like you were thinking out loud for advice there, don't mind me.

*Sighs.* Forgive me. Not very supportive, was it? Going back home isn't easy. Believe me, I know.

I always end up doing just that, but I'm still allowed to grumble all the way back home. [The Doctor shrugs his shoulders.] I think it was more along the lines of complaining aloud.

I would be more excited if it were for something different, you know, like a party or something fun.

Well yes, I suppose that would make it easier. Still. I'd avoid the party if I could get away with it. So what will you do? I'm one to say it, but complaining isn't a course of action.

You aren't the type for parties, I see. I will end up going back home to help with the mess there. [He shrugs.] When it comes to my home, I have that right to complain.

When it comes to home I think everyone has the right to complain. I'm not saying its the best thing to do, nothing much ever comes of it. Family tends to remind you if that. *Thinks for a moment.* Maybe it won't be as bad as you think? Sounds like your family needs you. When things settle down you can always leave again.

It is simple then, avoid it at all costs. Of course, it is inevitable, but it is fun giving them a good row occasionally, isn't it?

Of course it is, but they have been working my last nerve as of late.
