[It isn't long before Kili wakes, feeling the loss of warmth next to him, and he lifts his head, groggily rubbing at his eyes. He can hear someone rustling around and the crackle of a fire, and he pushes himself up, yawning as he stretches. He frowns as he focuses on his brother's form.
Then he's drawing his cloak tighter around himself and moving over beside his brother.] Fili?
Morning. *He keeps his voice hushed though, not wanting to wake the others. Fili reaches over to rub his brother's shoulders* I've put some tea on. I didn't wake you, did I?
*He's not so naive as to think that they're perfectly safe, and he is keeping an eye out despite the other Dwarf standing watch. But it's quiet, there hasn't been any movement. He pulls out an extra cup from their cooking supplies and fills it with tea before holding it out to Thorin.*
Has it? *He just shakes his head* I've been thinking about our journey, and what we've left behind. I've been on enough quests with you before, I've never had trouble quieting my thoughts to sleep.
Well. I'll feel better when we're on the road again. *He stretches his back and takes another swallow of tea* We will. With you leading us, I have no doubt.
Aye, as long as he doesn't eat all of the food first. *He smirks; it's a fond one. They tease Bombur but the dwarf is loyal and always sees to it that there is enough to go around.*

Fili? Is something out there? [He drew his sword instictively.]
Hmm, let's try canon!

It's been quiet, nothing is out there.

We need to be on our guard. Anything could attack while we least expect it. I could use a warm drink though.
\o/
:D I need to flex his canon muscles more >_>

We are on our guard. It's quiet tonight.
mmmmm canon.
*He pours some tea into his cup* Do you want some?
no subject
Aye. Perhaps too quiet. Stirrings in the North, I can feel something evil on the wind.
no subject
I don't sense anything. It just feels quiet to me.

What is bothering you?
no subject
Nothing. Just thoughts keeping me awake.

Thoughts coming back to haunt us. [He knew that all too well.] No matter what happens, we will reach Erebor.
