[In his current form, David barely even feels the frigid night air. Taking them deeper into the ravine, where they'll both have better protection from the wind, he glances up sharply at Felix's assessment.]

< 'Maybe'? What's 'maybe'? >

[It's hard for him not to ask again when all he gets is silence. How much of a connection does the conjurer have with his summoned creature, anyway? David's not sure, but he has the feeling Felix isn't ignoring him, but instead peering into a place he can't reach.]

[For that reason he holds his tongue until he feels the body sitting astride him slide off his back and onto the ground. The wind's still howling fiercely, and while he'd like to transform back, David instead positions himself between Felix and the wind.]
