Jack smiles, not saying anything as he putters around. He loved to hear his Captain sing. The man had a beautiful voice and he didn't sing often. Sometimes he would join in. More often than not, he preferred to just listen and lose himself in it.
Sometimes he tried to continue what he was doing. And sometimes he got distracted and just listened with that silly grin on his face. No matter where they are or what dangers they face, he knows it will be okay. It will be okay because they have each other.
[The Captain is singing an old Glen Miller tune along with the record player, his voice soft and low. He is singing as much for himself as for Jack, letting the music wash over him as he relaxed and enjoys this rare moment of peace.]
[Jack smiled and came over to his Captain. Taking one of Jack's hand's in his, he threaded their fingers together and started to sway them in time to the music.] You know, it's been a long time since we danced.
