"She's fancy when you're still getting used to having to live on a sentient spaceship. Well she's fancy when you normally didn't live in a spaceship to begin with." Clara seemed frustrated that she couldn't get in there to thumb through the Cortex, and take a poke at this 'Alliance' thing.

Maybe they were just had one up on Clara? "Or, it could be these people being a bit more cryptic than they should be."
