It was a piece of paper from a book he was carrying. Really, Stephen was much more put together most days. He wasn't naturally clumsy or absent-minded. He hadn't been sleeping well, there was a lot of stress going on coming from various sources. God, now he was losing things.

"Oh. Thank you." He stamped on it with his foot to stop it from blowing away and then leaned down to pick it up. "Too late to get my place back though, that's a shame."
