[Daine glanced in the newcomer's direction and let out a soft whuff of surprise. Regular folk never recognize her as something more than an animal when she's in a shape, so what sort of person was this? She didn't have any wild magic that Daine could see, but perhaps she was some sort of mage.]
[She can't talk to humans when she's in animal form, but at least she can answer the question. In an eye-blink, she shifted into falcon shape. After giving her new feathers a ruffle, she flapped up onto a nearby branch and blinked down at the stranger.]
[She watched the mage change forms and smiled slightly before she leaped into the air and was enveloped in a cloud of black smoke. Seconds later the smoke cleared and a black raven fly up to perch on the branch above the falcon.]
[... Huh. That's not how Numair looks when he takes his hawk shape, but it must still be a mage that Daine's dealing with. After a moment's consideration, she slowly shifts her head back to its human shape.]

Tis a decent job you have done to assume such a form. Have you attempted a form with the ability to fly yet?

"Hullo. I'm Daine."

"Morrigan of the Wild. Tis so nice to meet another shapechanger! Tell me, where did you happen to learn your art?"

"Numair taught me, mostly - he's a mage. And the Badger helped, too."
