[Steve sighs and puts his pencil down.]

Oh, that's interesting. I have literally no idea who those guys are. Actually, I lie, I've heard of that Green one.

[Tony smirks and goes for the pencil that Steve abandoned.]

...now for the big reveal. I'm a complete sucker for Aquaman, you can't tell anyone. Well, also there's Bruce, but I mean who isn't, right?

[Steve gives his pencils up for lost and moves onto his charcoal stick.]

[That last pencil proves to be the Pièce de résistance to Tony's efforts. Sticking exactly where he needed it to, completing his ceiling stalagmite mural of number 2's.]

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did need to ask you something. [He looks contemplative for a moment.] In all seriousness, I need you to sign something.

Bruce is interesting but he reminds me too much of a friend of mine.

[Steve watches Tony intently]

[Searching through his pocket, as if he's lost it, but really there was little chance of that. Tony pulls out a particularly worn looking, leather bound book.] Any page there, make it out 'To Rhodey, with love, Steve'... you see what I'm willing to do for my friends?

[Steve fights the urge to laugh as he signs the book.]

I should be asking for his autograph Coronal Rhodes has put up with a lot over the past few years.

[He studies the book a moment turning it over and over in his hands.]

Yeah, well... [He shrugs, unable to continue blithely down that path of conversation.] Consider that your autograph has been on backorder for years then. Might as well sign a page to him as well.

[Steve holds the book quietly in his hands for a few moments his own memories washing over him He jots something in the back of the book and closes it handing it back over without a world.]

Whoa, whoa. [He holds the closed book against his hand, signaling a 'T' for timeout.]

[Steve laughs.]

Evil is a strong word to use here. Granted we aren't perfect but some things have to be done to protect the innocent.

Fantastic. You'll be interested to know then, the next couple of years there will be more and more people with unique abilities. Mutations, technically but we'll see a growth spurt in humanity's DNA like never before. [Charles is quite passionate about his field of study.]

Without any additional help.....that's going to be stressful on the people who are born that way.

You can't blame someone like that on a whole country or even one person.

True and yet some people look for blame anywhere they can because it's easier then realizing there may not be an answer they like.
