"Of course, Master Wily." The words are spoken without even having to think, and he tries to keep his expression neutral, but internally Quint's a complete mess. Wrong coordinates, wrong time. And, most certainly, the wrong Dr. Wily.
This couldn't possibly go well. He'd have to play it cool until he could escape, and hope he didn't run into an alternate of himself. Or, worse, if this was one of the timelines that he didn't exist in at all, then his presence would already be suspicious.
Master Wily. That coming from the robot who had spoiled his plans countless times sounded pretty good in his opinion. This just may have been his best plan yet.
The modifications were top notch his opinion, of course they were, far better than anything Thomas had ever given Rock by far.
"You'd best be ready for your part when the time comes Quint."
'When the time comes.' Despite the situation, he can't help a slight trace of a smile, amused by that thought. Time, after all, was something he had a very particular understanding of.
"When the time comes, yes, Master Wily, I will be."
At least now he had an idea of when he was. So long ago. Before Zero, even before Ballade and Punk. All the way back to the beginning of his own personal time loop.
He hadn't noticed that "his" Quint had been switched out for this one. Quint wasn't a machine he really cared for, just his next attempt to finally be rid of Megaman and prove to Thomas that his designs were superior.
"Then you'd better get Sakugarne ready, and we'll see about running you through some tests. You're upgrades should be far superior, but your body is still Thomas' creation, I'd hate for that to hold you back."
"As you wish, Master Wily." He's relieved that the visor on his helmet, and the excuse to turn his attention to the pogo-jackhammer, both help to hide any surprise he's unable to. His own universe's Dr. Wily hadn't been so open with him about his origins, locking down certain memories. Quint had believed he was another in the RKN series until he'd created a paradox that unlocked the files.
Right now, the important thing was just to play it cool. He'd lived through this before. He could do it again, long enough to get out of this.

(Slight warning, this Quint is a post-game AU universe-hopper, but he'll be trying to hide that XD)

Fine by me!
