[Tilting her head back slightly to glance up to the tree above, her brow knits together slightly as she stares at the girl.]

[Ara is wearing a lopsided grin when the woman finally notices her.]

That is lady knight, my friend. [Laughs]

[Sosa chuckles softly while moving her hair away from her face, the other arm nice and tight against the front of her body where it would have to remain for about another week give of take.]

Beg my pardon lady knight.

[Biting back another laugh, she jumps down from the branch she had been perched on to look at it for herself. Well, it looked better then the other night.]

I am only joking, and you look a lot better too.

I feel a hell of a lot better, damn painkillers they gave me are amazing.

[Which may very well explain why she carried the lady knight joke on like she did.]

[She would run with it, it gave her an excuse to be lighthearted.] Also, I spoke to my father and he informed his department about the mess. They picked him up yesterday evening from what I understand. He had an expired license as well as a warrant. [It was a lie she hid behind a smile. Truth be told, Richard knew nothing about it. She tracked him down and had her fun beating him silly before scaring the daylight sun out of him.]

[Adjusting the strap slightly so she could scratch under it she gave a nod before a brow arched as the girl carried on.]

Doesn't surprise me, most hit and runs happen that way. [At leas the guy had been caught and was off the street now.]

[It had felt better she expected, helping someone like she used to do as she watched her new acquaintance scratch.]

I guess so, he knows more then I do about it. [Off the street, he would not be walking for awhile that was certain. He showed no remorse and paid for it. that made him no better then a Hunter.]

[Damn sling was driving her crazy but, for once she was going to follow doctors orders through.]

[It was amusing watching her itch but Ara kept herself from laughing, the poor human did look miserable after all.]

[Once she got back home and could take the sling off for a little bit, she'd feel better until the damn thing had to go back on.]

He works at night so he wouldn't notice most likely unless I was not home at sunrise. [Not exactly the truth but it wasn't an entire lie either.]

[She finally places the strap back against her skin before moving to walk, heavy black boots carrying her down the sidewalk. It was up to the girl if she followed or not.]

[Curiosity was going to win out eventually with the teenager as Ara took a couple of steps, converse quiet on the pavement but decided against it for the night. The moon was full and Richard would want her to go with him.]

[The woman allowed a glance over her shoulder toward the teenager. Giving her a small nod before speaking.]

You could hire a scribe? Surely your workplace has coffee-runner minions that you could recruit to write for you.

I prefer working on my own. Besides, I kind of have a reputation as a bitch and it steers people clear of me unless my CO commands them to work with me.

[Charisa doesn't blush often. Hell, it took a lot to even tinge her cheeks pink. But, it seemed those words easily had her turning red while she glanced down a shy smile forming on her lips.] I uh...wow.

*Stephen chuckles softly, turning his gaze again from her for a moment to allow her something of privacy during a moment of embarrassment.* All true, of course. All good reasons why one should never underestimate a woman.

Couple weeks at least. [She shrugs her other shoulder. Knowing her though she'd be taking if off in a couple days.]
