[No Hunter and no other form of bad people so Ara could open it the rest of the way for her friend with a smile.] Hello!

[She could understand Ara being cautious when it came to opening the door. So when it pulls the rest of the way open she can't help but smile softly.]

How you doing hon?

I am okay. Are you are okay? [She leaves it open so she can come in.]

I'm alright. [She moves inside and closes the door behind her.]

[Ara goes to sit back in front of the t.v. where her game was paused and plops back down to finish it.] Do you want to play too?

Depends on what you're playing.

[Sosa might just be content in watching for now. After several video game matches with Murdock where she got her butt kicked, she was sure Ara could easily beat her.]

It is called Call of Duty, I think.

[She was new to video games, it might be easier to beat her then her friend would think. Richard was winner of most of them at the moment.]

[Moving to sit down on the couch her head tilts to the side slightly. She's about to ask why Ara was playing such a game but, then again the tiny vamp dealt with worse in her life and so Sosa she just closes her mouth.]

I'll just watch you for now.

[Richard bought it for her to play. She didn't see anything in it that she didn't learn about in training, it sort of seemed normal to her at this point.]

Alright, if you want to later I can start a new game. [She was back to punching buttons with her small fingers, tongue stuck out in concentration, well until her little soldier died again. Darn.] Do you want some candy?

Did you even read the instruction manual? [Like she had any room to talk, Sosa was a button masher herself.]

Only if you have enough to share.

Mmhmm, I got mad. [This game was hard! Controls were easier now but that was only half the battle.]

Of course I do. [She holds the bag up that was sitting next to the t.v.] I bought Smarties this time too.

[Charisa can't help but chuckle softly. Moving from her spot on the couch she walks over and sits down by Ara on the floor.]

Did buy those just for me or do you secretly like them too?

[She forgot about her lost game and tried on a smile when her friend joined her.] You didn't get any so I went back to buy them for you.

You did? That's awfully sweet of you Ara.

I had to. [She holds the bag out.]

You didn't have to. [She points out though takes the outstretched bag and digs out a few packages of Smarties before handing it back.]

I wanted to. [Sorry Charisa, there was no winning this time. She set it down beside them when her friend picked what she wanted while a big, gangly puppy trotted towards them, all legs and paws.]

Far enough. [She's in the midst of unwrapping one of the packages when the catches sight of the puppy out of the corner of her eye, shifting her head to watch it she pops a couple Smarties in her mouth.]

[Lucius was busy sniffing his way to the candy bag when he sees a new person, stopping next to Ara, he sits down and watches her too. She reaches up to scratch his ears for him.]

This is my dog, he's still growing up too.

He's already a big boy, really needs to grow into those paws of his.

[She closes her hand around the remaining Smarties she had yet to eat while reaching out to give the dog a scratch under the chin.]

What's his name?

He can't help it, he is sort of clumsy.

[Lucius goes sniffing for her hand furiously when the new face starts giving him attention. He smells that candy human.]

His name's Lucius and he is a Siberian Husky.

He's adorable.

[She allows him to sniff at her hand before she swipes her hand up to give his head a few pats.]

Well, hello Lucius.

He is very funny too but he chews on my shoes.

[He didn't budge from beside Ara but the extra petting is welcomed. A big, wet tongue starts trying to lick at Charisa energetically. When she says hello, he barks loudly.]

You should break him of that.

[She had a dog when she was younger who loved to make meals out of her shoes as well, so she understood. It's when the large, wet tongue lulls out for licks that she scoots back a little more. No doggy bath today.]

I'm trying, he's stubborn.

[Lucius doesn't pay much mind to the rejection, he settles for licking his owner instead. Ara was doing her best not to laugh but his tongue tickled.]

[Charisa pops the left over Smarties that were in the palm of her hand into her mouth and laughs softly watching as Lucius licks Ara.]

He seems loveable.

I like him so I hope so.

[Once he stops, she goes back to petting him again, silly puppy.] I wish he could learn to hunt with us too but Richard said it isn't safe for him.

And Richard is right. Maybe when he's older but, for now it's just not safe.

[She leans over to give the dog a quick scratch behind the ears.]

I know, but he has to learn to fight too. I don't want Lycans to hurt him in case I can't get to him, or Hunters.

[He was really important to her, and he was special because Gavin gave him to her. Lucius was blissfully soaking up all the attention he was getting of course.]

I know Ara, but you know that Richard is just doing what it best right now. I'm sure once Lucius is older he'll be able to hunt with you.

I guess so.

[She opens another package of Smarties and nods.]

[She sighs and digs in her own bag for a roll of sweettarts and nibbles one them after working the plastic open. Lucius gets up to walk around.] It was nice you came over.

I was in the neighborhood and figured I'd stop by to see how you were. [She pulls her legs in closer to her body, knees against her chest.]

Are you sure you are alright? [She did that when her mind was really busy or she was sad.]

I've just got a lot on my mind as of late, I'm fine though.

[She smiles in hope it would give Ara some assurance.]

[Adults did that a lot, Richard did too sort of but she saw humans do it the most. Hmm.]

I do too and Richard. I think a lot of people do. I hope it goes away soon.

I'm sure it will, once I get things sorted out.

Things can get very complicated. If you need to kick anyone's butt I can help.

I wish it was that easy honey but, it's not.

[Granted it would take a lot of the weight she felt off her. But, she didn't think Face would appreciate getting smacked for no reason.]

Of course not. [She sighs.]

Well, if you do have to kick someone's butt later I can help. [Why did everything always have to be complicated? Is this why so many adults were cranky and unhappy?]

I'll keep that in mind, though not everything can be solved by kicking butt Ara.

[She rubs her face tiredly with both hands.]

I know, you have to think too.. [She didn't always like fighting. It was the only way some adults listened to her sometimes.]

You look sleepy, you can rest on the sofa if you want. I have to finish my lesson in my book.

I should probably get going actually. [That and she seemed to keep getting the little one in trouble with Richard.]

[Sliding her hands under her she pushes herself up off the carpet.]

Okay, thank you for coming over. [It was sort of lonely by herself.. but she was brave! She only got in trouble because she wandered off by herself and he was paranoid.]

[Ara holds up the candy bag of Smarties.] Do not forget your candy.

[As much as Charisa would have liked to keep Ara company, the thoughts weighing on her mind needed to be sorted out as quickly as possible.

Taking the back of Smarties with a smile, she offers a nod.] Thank you.

[She was used to it, and she had Lucius to sit with her while she studied. She would rather be training...]

Your welcome. [Ara waves quietly and goes back to her book.]

[On the way out she'll give Lucius a quick scratch behind the ears, before opening the door and stepping outside.]
