[ Carter does not look especially pleased to hear that. ] Then where is she?

[ He stares at her for a moment, then glances down at the linen sheet currently being used as a blanket, huffing in annoyance. ]

Then take me to the brownstone. [ He inclines his head toward the exit, still more Khufu than Carter at this point while his memories finish sorting themselves out. ]

[She leads the way out and to a car, holding the rear door open for him. She then joins him in the backseat.

Limo for you, Carter.]

[ Despite the lack of proper clothing, or perhaps because of it, he wastes little time in moving after his temporary hostess and settles into the expensive car like it's casual Friday. Of all the places to spontaneously appear, Watchtower wouldn't have been his first choice.

At least the idiot isn't around. ]

You died, we laid you to rest in Egypt with Shayera. The team got kidnapped by the VRA, escaped and the VRA bill itself was defeated. Then the Darkness came and Clark defeated it. Since then, it's been the usual non-apocalyptic issues.

[ Carter's expression lessens in severity and he comes very close to smiling at news of the Kryptonian's victory. ]

Has he become the leader your team needs?
