Same place as last time or did you have somewhere else in mind? Barton is pestering for answers. One day it will just be the two of us meeting for lunch. I don't think he's used to me not living in the Oz-vengers house.

Same place is fine. Did you want it to be just you and him today?

[charring]

I meant us as in you and I. And. No. I like when the three of us hang out and it isn't due to the world needing saving.

It does have it's appeal, the lack of world saving I mean. And the seeing you. Barton...well I see him all the time.

[charring]

Seeing you has it's appeal, too. What a coincidence.

How is it at the house, anyway?

[promisebreaker]

Who would have thunk it?

Quiet. I don't think we all know what to do with each other.

[charring]

I can't really imagine that place as quiet.

See you in a couple minutes.

It's not that sort of quiet.

[ And a few minutes later, Peter is walking up to the cafe. He spies Charlie and grins, leaning over to kiss her lightly in greeting before he sits down in the chair next to her. ] So how's your day been?

[charring]

[Ah. That's the face she wanted to see. He gets a kiss in return and a soft smile before she gives a small shrug.]

Long. Kind of exhausting. We did a whole bunch of getting to know you stuff in three of my classes and the last one we didn't so much do that as we sat around and listened to our teacher talk about fondant for an hour.

So...uneventful.

[Which works for her.] What about you?

[promisebreaker]

[ Peter scoots his chair a little closer. ]

Early lab in anatomy. We did more dissecting then I spent a couple of hours at Oscorp working on figuring out some genetic stuff. It was good though.
