Uh, what?

My most recent client is a raving idiot who thought a modern replica so new as to still be warm from the mold was a priceless artifact.

*slow, even smile* Luckily, my fee is not dependent on the results of the appraisal, merely on its completion.

Who would think that?

A 'gentleman' with a great deal more money than sense.

I should probably feel badly that someone took a fair bit of that money in selling him the object and that I took a good bit more telling him that, but.....nah. I don't. At all.
