An old complaint. [The craggy grey head is tilted, pale eyes watching him. Listening to the words he chooses, of course, in both tongues.] Perhaps greater this day than on most. Akatosh kogaan. You chose your moment well.

[It's quietly good-humoured, that last, the tone he uses when teasing.]

[The flinching is getting better, at least. The movements of the large creature's head no longer get him twitching like he's going to be eaten at any second.

The tilt of his own head isn't a flinch--it's the confusion of a student.] Ko-- 's the last bit?

[There's a quiet pleasure in watching such progress: not the kind that usually appeals to the dov, but satisfying nonetheless.]

Kogaan. [Paarthurnax draws the syllables out a little, the better for his pupil to hear their sound.] A blessing, the bestowal of good fortune.

Kogaan. [And once or twice more, under his breath, head bobbing slightly as if it will help the word stick.] And-- when d'you use it? You don't in th' greeting, but-- that's like a blessing too, isn't it?

So sorry about the slowness, RL things keep popping up the last couple of days!

Hmm. In a manner of speaking. One announces their good will to greet another peacefully. Zul do hind... an expression of hope. When I spoke of kogaan, it was a known blessing. The favour of a god.

Of kogaanne - of blessings? [Have a plural form there.] Or of gods? I would say there are very many of the former.
