Nope, but then again I'm not talking about a relationship that's perfect. I don't know if fairy tale relationships come with all the bumps and bruises that, a relationship comes with.
I... don't know about fairy tales since I've never been told any. I guess it was just weird hearing a guy talk about true love. It's usually the woman saying it.
I know so. [ Rory looks up to Amy from his seat on the TARDIS swing with a smile on his face, and he points between the two. Despite all of the trouble they went through, Rory can't argue there. ] I think you also know so.
I've had a bit of spare time, that and well some of them were reading assignments when I was a kid. [ Rory rolls his eyes, and he takes deep breath. ] I suppose it's a bit weird, but it doesn't mean we don't have the same goals.
Well I'm sure some don't, but there are those of us that do. Annnd, before you ask, yes, I'm married.
We must have had way different schooling since we never read them there either. Of course, not a lot of people put a lot of stock in foster kids. ( Yeah, okay, she was never a foster kid, but those were the memories she had this time around. And, it's a lot better than saying she's human, but she doesn't know how she was... born. )
You're the first I've met. And, does your wife... husband... feel the same way?
[ Rory lifts his arm up to allow Amy to rest body up against his. He turns his head to face her, a smile on his face and a bit of a laugh. ] I had to keep myself occupied during my time watching over you. Let's just say, I did a lot of reading.
You got the centurion in shining armor, instead of the prince in shining armor. I'd say you got the cooler version.
I will say, you did get the much cooler hat. Even if the Doctor undoubtedly disagrees. [ Her hand lifts to ruffle through his hair and undoubtedly over his imaginary ( for the moment ) helmet. ]
I'd still recommend giving them a bit of chance. They're not exactly what Disney makes them out to be. [ Rory arches up an eyebrow, and he uhs. ]
...Wife. [ He places his hands on his hips, and he gives it a bit of thought. ] I'm not exactly sure, but we didn't exactly have a normal relationship. Then again, mileage tends to vary from relationship to relationship.
Anything that isn't a fez isn't cool in his...[ Rory flails and he looses his balance as Amy ruffles his hair, and he tumbles out backwards from the swing and onto his ass. ] Wooah! Umph!
[ Rory grumbles as he rubs his back, and he begins to slowly sit himself up on the floor.
He grumbles some more, and he points a finger up in the air with a goofy grin on his face. ] Careful with the helmet, we don't want to break it. [ Rory slowly stands up, and he grimaces a little. ]
[ well, if Rory's in the floor, Amy doesn't see a reason why she shouldn't be, either, sliding off the seat to curl up beside him, folding her legs up beneath herself and looking amused, as usual, chin propped on her fist. ] Oh, but I like the messy hair look. Sexy, you know. Very devil-may-care.
[ Instead of ruffling his hair this time, she lifts a hand to rub his presumably sore back with a knowing look and gentle touch. ] I quite like your backside as well, be careful with that, too.
[ He keeps his legs positioned out in front of him, as he continues to grumble a bit about that sudden loss of dignity. He lift his arm up when she goes to curl up next to him once again, but this time he doesn't have to worry about falling out of that swing.
He glances at Amy for a little bit, a smile crossing his face, as he uses his other hand to rub his back. ] Yeah, I like sitting. [ He awkwardly says, as he moves his hand to allow Amy to rub it. Closing his eyes and lowering his head, Rory took in a deep breath. ] And you're awful, uh... what's the word?
Sexy? Elegant? Brilliant? [ She supplies him with all sorts of answers she thinks will do just fine, grinning at him cheekily before she gives his back one last gentle pat and then settles herself down, half draped across his lap, folding her arms over one of his thighs, chin resting in them. ]
