[And they find that simply fascinating. They kind of just... hover around outside the egg, poking at the teeth curiously and peeking at the slumbering form inside. They looked so peaceful, maybe it would be nice to try sleeping for once. Sleep seemed... interesting.
Would she mind if they got in with her? Maybe... They didn't know the rules of sleeping. It was a comfy looking bed, surely she wouldn't mind another warm body in there.
(The teeth are wickedly sharp, and some of them are forked, like a shark had a tryst with a steak fork. And yes, it is beautifully comfortable, at least for Metody. Others might find the uneven surface under the green silks to be a tad uncomfortable.
But that all hardly matters: Metody sighs, rolls over, and wakes.)
[And... Yes they are in the bed. They kind of slunk past the teeth, thank goodness for being able to dissolve into shadow, and are sitting in the bed right next to her, looking just thrilled to death that they're sitting in a really real bed and not on a piece of canvas on the ground or a bunch of piled up clothes.
(It's more a yip and a squeak than a scream. But it ends with her against the opposite side of the eggshell, sheets clutched to her neck in the very best horror movie style.)
[Oh dear, they scared her. Not what they had meant to do. They jumped back at the scream, pressing against their side of the eggshell, looking surprised to have even heard the cry from her, before trying to make some... gentle reassuring movements. They put their hands up, to show they didn't have a thing on them, and smiled as best they could. Look, see? Not dangerous! They just wanted to see the bed too.]
(She takes a deep, shakey breath, and stats gathering the trailing green around herself. There it's no reason to pretend to be normal, and so thin spinal bands of bone catch the fabric up, binding it to her body to make a dress.
There are tattoos on her arms and shoulders of green leaves, all exotic to a desert dweller.)
No. No. I don't care who sent you or what they said, I am not that friendly.
[Indeed! They don't know about the tattoos, so they start pointing. No one ever told them it isn't polite to point. They point eagerly at one tattoo, and then another, gesturing to their own body that they themselves had no marked yet. They wanted to know what was with those? They had seen people with tattoos before of course but... Well nothing that looked like that. Plants? How pretty!
She seemed friendly to them. The smile wasn't going away, and they happily helped 'dress' her, handing off bits of blanket and helping to arrange them on her like some kind of fancy dress. She had powers too! They were friends now, right? They hoped so, they were kind of in her bed.]
(The fabric is thin, nothing more than cotton and silk sheets, but there's a great deal of it. When enough of it is draped around her, she settles her hands down and frown at him. Him? She glances over the person with eyes that see bones even better than they see flesh.)
[No hints about the gender, their bones are slender and appear rather brittle if anything. Faelike. May as well be hollow really. But they seem happy to see her nevertheless, happily putting their hands in their lap and wiggling all over, eager to talk-
Well not talk but definitely interact with someone else! They wiggle their fingers in greeting, before making a point to fluff the bed excitedly, holding up blankets and sheets and piling them into her lap. They wanted to see your bed! It just looked so cozy, they couldn't say no to climbing in!]
[No, they can't talk.... But they do understand her! They nod their head a bit, showing that indeed, they do comprehend the language, before taking some blankets and wrapping themselves up in it. Aaaah so cozy.
[Oh good, they won't have to 'explain' much. They know how to say yes! They just nod a bunch, quite a few times just to get her to notice the nodding, before flopping back on the bed. Well, it'll be clear in a moment that they're not without sound, because they've buried themselves under the blankets and there's giggling coming from them.]
[Nah, Chibi's pretty much used to it, given how he sleeps out in the open all the time. Snorting in his sleep, the godpuppy paws at his nose in his sleep and rolls over, with flowers and greener grass than normal blooming up in the spot where he was previously lying.]
[That's amazing! They wish they could grow flowers. They settle down beside the puppy and watch for a few minutes, fascinated by the flowers and grass blooming... before picking a few and starting to chain them together. Everyone loves flower crowns, right?
Also that puppy is totally getting pets. Pets for the puppy.]
[He's only half-noticing the pets, but it's enough to just barely wake him, which earns one of those massive face-stretching yawns that all puppies, regardless of divinity, are famous for.]
[So cuuuuute. They set the flower crown on the puppy and proceed to try and tickle its tummy, because puppies are adorable and all need their tummies tickled. They haven't gotten to play with many baby animals yet, this is kind of a treat! Hello little puppy dog, aren't you the cutest thing ever?]
[Still asleep, the wolfpup suddenly goes stock still at the first hint of tummy pets. then, slowly, one back leg starts kicking, building up speed as Chibi finds a more comfortable position. Soon that leg is kicking and thumping like mad, and even asleep the pup is panting in joy.]
[Yaaaaaay tummy tickles. They look delighted, happily scratching at the pups belly as that leg goes crazy. They like this, they can live with this. All their attention is on the pup now, the being absolutely cooing over the puppy on its back in front of them]
[Right they're talking! Questions happen, they have to answer them! They pop their head back out, smiling pleasantly from under the veil.
Say no? They shake their head a little. That's how they say no, that's pretty easy. Yes and no questions are a snap for them. They throw some blankets overtop her and make... a tent!
Just them and their glowing eyes now. They like the dark.]
