Bruce yelps and draws his hand back. He'd been reaching for a pen and not expected a hand.

What the heck?

[Bruce blinks and gives Clint the sleepy nerd look most of SHIELD finds completely adorable.]

Uh watch what?

[Clint shakes his head, bemused as he hands Bruce a nearby pen.]

You falling asleep at your desk. It's really adorable when you start to drool. You should hit the sack, doc, otherwise, pics of you sleeping will happen because they are just that cute. And I'm not even talking about me taking them. But, if I tell the girls you're looking drowsy, you can expect a lot more traffic outside your windows as they swarm...waiting... [Clint is beaming.]

Kit had been creeping around and was looking to pick up something that had caught his attention when the human had done the same thing. His camouflage starts sparking at the unexpected contact and drops as he jumps back, a hand up and ready for a fight if it comes. He'd been taught that most humans fought back, so he was ready but a young trainee like him could only hope to escape alive. He clicks in alarm.

[Bruce takes the pen and blinks setting it back down. He rubs his hand over his face completely mortified he'd been drifting off.}

This isn't the first time this has happened to me either. Betty would send out e-mail when I fell asleep at Culvers and I'd wake up with a line out the door with people taking pictures. Apparently I was a meme for a while.

Bruce takes a few deep breaths trying to keep himself calm. A Hulk out right now would be bad, bad, bad.

Is someone there?

Hate to break it to you man, but you're currently SHIELD's favorite meme. You've got to see some of the wallpaper on the computers. I personally like the, "Mean, Green, Sleeping Machine." There are little dream bubbles over your head of the Big Guy chasing butterflies.

There is someone very much here, and poor Kit's invisibility shorts out, revealing in a swirl of sparks a 2 meter tall alien standing in the room. He's wearing a metal mask and two arm bracers, one of which sports a pair of wicked blades. Aside from this, and a natural set of talons for fingers, he lacks any armament and looks as far as one can tell to be rather surprised as well.

Bruce stands up suddenly terrified. He sucks in a deep breath and counts to 100.

What the........

He takes a half-step back as he looks at his own arms, and then another step back as he raises his claws in a defensive pose. He's making a clear stand here, his body language ready for a fight when it comes from the humans. He growls, trying to be menacing.

Bruce needed to quickly deal with this before the Hulk came out to play and things got out of hand. He holds up his hands.

It's okay, it's okay...I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not a bad guy...I'm just Bruce.

[Bruce laughs and shakes his head.]

Butterflies....seriously....butterflies.

I have to admit, that one is my favorite, sorry Big Guy, but it's really cute and I bet you'd like butterflies. They just fly around, not hurting a thing.

[Boop, touching cloth.

On a seven foot tall, purple eyed beanpole.

Well if we're touching-

And they boop him back on the chest. Boop]

Bad or good, Bruce is still human but a scan of his person shows that he's unarmed. The claws curl slightly toward his palms and lower, but he takes another half step back as his head tilts curiously, the growl mellowing into a series of clicks.

Good, good sounds like you are calming down. Calm is good. We all want to be calm right now.

Bruce takes another breath.

Who are you where did you come from?

[Bruce blinks and stares at the seven foot tall purple man with complete amazement.]

Where did you come from?

[Bruce laughs.]

He actually does like butterflies he likes the way they tickle when they land on him.

[Oh don't worry the rest of them is normal.

They gesture here and around and sort of behind. Everywhere sort of gesturing. They were here!]

Awww, he's so adorable sometimes I just want to squish him! But he'd probably squish me first, huh? Alright, we need to work on Hulk hugs, because even Hulks need hugs. Maybe test it out on Thor first? Or Cap. They could take a good squeezing until he gets that hang of it. What do you think, Big Guy? How do you feel about hugs?

Does he know about...the other night in the alley....?

Ca~lm. He manages to growl the word, curious as to why the human keeps saying it. The tone of voice is clearly placating in its manner, at least for a human. Kit is still wary as he stands where he is, studying Bruce. He understands that dual question however, pointing to the ceiling, then making a ripping motion followed by an outstretched palm. He aligns it to Bruce's head and makes a crushing motion, all the while clicking calmly. He pauses a moment and then holds out his open hand with the palm down, motioning around the room and then curls his fingers inward, motioning toward his mask. His people come to hunt, today he is here to learn.

Find. Take. Okay, so *take* isn't *learn*, but he hasn't heard the word much yet to assign a meaning to it.

Take....take what....what is it that you need?

[Bruce gets a goofy smile on his face and nods.]

Oh he knows......I got the Hulk version of well done you. Also hugs are fine.
