Maybe we should, I dunno, get a house or something more stationary? Would
that help? I mean, if we're going to do domestic we should do it all the
way. Some place out in the countryside with lots of room, a place a family
should live. The TARDIS is really no place for a child to grow up in, not
until he's older anyway. I still get lost in the old girl. I think she'd
take care of a Tot, but it's not the safest place in the universe. Well,
it is, but you know what I mean. Are you sure you don't want something
else to settle your stomach? What was it like for you last time? Weird
cravings, anything I should know about?
[Jack smiles warmly and he struggles to his feet using the console to boost
himself up.]
We'll need to settle in a few months when I get too big to move very fast.
Right now as long we're careful I'll be fine.
As for changes I don't really do the weird food cravings thing, I am going
to be in a lot of pain in the first few months as my body changes to carry
the baby better . I'll be sensitive to touch and I'll get sick easily.
Okay, we'll stock up on those then, I'll make sure we always have some on
hand. [He was already going completely overboard in his mind.] I want
you to be as comfortable as possible.
Spoil you, take care of you, make sure you have everything you could
possible desire. You're carrying my child, of course I'm going to do all
those things.
Time Lords are considered children for a few hundred years, and teens for a
few hundred more. This will be interesting. [The Doctor has a daft grin
on his face.]
Which did I catch? Are you planning on being the breeding stock to
repopulate the universe with Time Lords. In a few hundred years, we'd be
ready to take over the universe!
Gotta admit, I was rather hoping to take over the universe in about 500
years, but I'm content to act like a teenager. [He grins, loving the sound
of Jack's laugh. He makes a mental note to make him laugh more often.]

Water please...just water don't let the TARDIS make me tea again.

[For a moment, the Doctor has no idea where he keeps the water.]
Water? Right, water. I have water, where is the water? [He slaps his forehead.] Thick, thick, think,
[He goes to the large fridge, pulls out a bottle of water and runs back to Jack.]
Water. I have water. For you. Water.

[Jack accepts the bottle and sips from it still looking a bit pale. He pats the floor of the TARDIS.]
Sorry sweetheart...didn't mean to mess up the floor.

Sick, sensitive, no cravings, got it. Does anything help with the sick part? Anything at all?

Fruit juice helped the last time. I can't drink tea...my body isn't designed to handle it. And water with sugar helps too.

You want to spoil me rotten you mean? Can't say I don't mind that at all.

[Jack grins.]
We're having a little half Time Lord....us parents.
no subject
We're insane, saddling a child with us for parents. I hope he or she appreciates how truly awesome we really are. Eventually. One day. In the future.
no subject
I'm sure they will once they get past "my dads are completely dumb," teenager stage.......Time Lords hopefully aren't as bad as human teens.

[Jack mock groans and rolls his eyes.]
I'm doomed.

[The Doctor slaps him on the shoulder.] You'll get to be a dad for a very, very, very long time.

[Jack can't help himself teasing]
Yes to, two teenagers at the same time.
no subject
Oi! Did you just call me a teenager? Or are you planning on more than one child?
no subject
Caught that huh?
[Jack is laughing now.]
no subject
Which did I catch? Are you planning on being the breeding stock to repopulate the universe with Time Lords. In a few hundred years, we'd be ready to take over the universe!
But it was the teenager thing, wasn't it?
no subject
Yep....totally the teenager thing.
[Jack is laughing harder now.]
