[He feels so betrayed. The one person in the world he trusted had tricked him.]

[ Betrayal, it is something he understands right now, he looks away from Sam and over towards a window with a long look on his face. He sucks in a deep breath of air, and he sighs. ] I wish I wish I had an answer, and I think Dean meant well in the end even if what he did was truly selfish.

But, don't forget the talk we had, about what I was learning while I was human, about the whole idea that life is the most beautiful and precious thing. And perhaps he's seeing something we're not right now.

The only reason he did what he did is because he didn't want to be alone. I love my brother, but if our roles were switched? If I knew that he wanted to die and finally be at peace? If the only way to save him was to trick him into something he'd never agree to? I'd have found a way to let him go, Cas. He's earned that. And I thought I had too.

[ Castiel understands Dean's motives, nothing is more important than love for one's family. He also understands where Sam stands on this. ]

But, would you be ready to let him go when the time came? And, right now, we need you Winchesters to stick together. I should be mad at Dean for messing with the natural order, but now is not the right time to be holding a grudge.
