Sweet. This place is huge, ya know. I was s'posed t'stay at Janet's apartment but she's got a full house so I'm just stayin' in a room'a my own. I been doin' a lotta indoor explorin'
*He leads Matt toward the garden which doesn't only have his flowers, but many other plants and flowers as well. Anyone can tell which ones are his though. They're the brightest, most purple and bluest ones there*
Thanks. I can't take all'a the credit for this though. Y'saw how much smaller they were back at the old place. I think once the weather gets nicer we're gonna move 'em to a roof top. Been thinkin' bout growin' herbs too.
*He's looking less scattered, but still tired. Sleep has still been hard*
I'm out! I'm back! *He hugs back happily, tightly. He's been staying at The Mark hotel with Janet and he hasn't tried to venture out too far just yet* I was just thinkin' bout ya actually. I was gonna call ya t'come by.
*He laughs lightly, brushing his fingers against the daisy petals* Thanks for lookin' out for 'em. Your gardener did an amazin' job. They look lots healthier. *And even dorkier, in his head he's thinking, they probably grew with him, cause he feels healthier too*
That could be nice. [Janet makes a face, lifting her hands in confusion.] Oh, hon. I am completely clueless when it comes to plants. I could arrange for you to have a little chat with Rick if you want? I bet he'd tell you all the tricks.
I'll see if I can arrange something, then. I'm sure he won't mind. He's a really nice guy and I've mentioned you before when I first brought them here.
For some reason I always say peonies are my favorite, but... I kind of like everything. I have a soft spot for red roses, just because they were my mother's favorite, and anything that is yellow simply because it's my favorite color.
Cool, maybe he an' I can share tips. He can be my gardenin' buddy.
Peonies are gorgeous. An' red roses are classic. *He smiles softly* Blue an' purple flowers're my mom's favorite so I try an' have as many'a them as possible. Oh there're so many pretty yellow flowers. Can't wait for spring. We'll have daffodils. *Janet, your place will be full of beautiful yellow flowers from now on*
Blue and purple are lovely colors. It's really sweet of you to honor her memory with flowers, too. I bet she'd love them. [Oh, she'd die. Janet smiles, nodding her head enthusiastically.] I'm definitely excited for spring. For so many reasons.
I do love it lots. I was thinkin'a growin' more things, too. Maybe some herbs or veggies. How cool would it be t'grow your own herbs?
She loved flowers. She had'er own garden an' I used to help'er out with 'em all the time. S'what got me into it. *Much like everything else he loves. He holds her close through all of those thing. The only good things he's ever had in his life* Flowers, nice weather, babies. *he smiles*
I bet growing your own herbs would be pretty easy as long as you had a window with some sunlight shining through. I see a lot of those little, window box gardens online a lot.
From all I've heard, your mother sounds like she was pretty dang cool. It's great that she was able to teach you and introduce you to so many wonderful things. I can appreciate art in all forms, personally. Gardening is definitely an art. [The smile on her face only seems to grow into a big, toothy grin.] Babies the most important and most exciting, for sure.
Oh yeah, I can line 'em all up by the window. That'd be really cool. I wanna grow 'em big an' tall, though. I'd need great big kinda windows.
She wasreally cool, an' beautiful. Most beautiful person I ever seen. She taught me lotsa arts. Gardenin', drawin', fashion. All'a that I got from her. *He smiles wider at that too, because babies are another thing he loves so much* When's the due date?
Something to put on your list when we start looking for some place for you to stay, hmm? Big windows. One in the kitchen right by the sink would be nice.
She sounds amazing, hon. [They are cute little shits, aren't they?] Well, assuming that everything goes as planned, we're looking at about twelve more weeks.
Oh yeah! Yes. Definitely somethin' I wanna look for. Lotsa light is healthy for people, too. I'd like a small place. Somethin' cozy that feels like home
I'll show ya a picture'a her when I get a chance. I got a locket with'er inside an' a few photos tucked away in some books. *He can't wait till the day he can have babies!* Twelve weeks? Holy shit, well that's a good amount'a time, yet pretty soon. No wonder you're so glowy.
