"A slight attack of nerves, I am certain. Nothing to be overly concerned with."

Not that Stent is at all qualified or capable of actually knowing this to be true. But he's the Astronomer Royal. That means he's awesome at all science, right?

The patient in question is a rail thin young woman wearing a brilliantly green dress of severe and unadorned lines. Her face is white and her lips are nearly as pale.

"I was briefly dizzy. I'm terribly sorry they called you - it always passes."

Stent raises an eyebrow at the bag, but makes no move to examine it more closely.

"I doubt very much that my companions, as you call them, are at all as concerned about my well-being as they would have you believe, Doctor."

He knows Moriarty is behind this. And Ogilvy and Markham and the rest of them. He's not sure how, exactly, but he's certain of it.

[John glares at the doctor with all the fury and Captain Watson power that he can manage.]

Oh wonderful another doctor to pronounce me a madman.....lets get this over with then.
