*Nick runs over, getting down on his knees* Met! Whoa, darlin', you alright?

Shit. I just had those shined!

(Metody might be a touch dazed)

- what?

[He glares down at his shoes. After a moment he pinches his eyes closed.] My damn shoes. Seriously.

(Her cheeks go crimson)

Oh, gosh, I'm fine! I was just startled.

*He reaches a hand out to help him up* What's got ya startled? Y'sure you're alright?

(Metody stands, looking a touch shaky)

- are you seriously complaining because I tripped over your shoes?

I'm just a little clumsy. Urgh, how embarrassing.

(He stands, brushing off the skirt of his bright dress)

*Don't mind him, he's going to help brush off the dress as well* Hey, don't be embarrassed, it happens. Ya ain't clumsy. Where ya off to?

I sort of am.

No where in particular. I was thinking about lunch in the museum - they do something amazing with salmon. Want to come?

Well I ain't ever noticed. *He smiles*

Museum? Lunch? *The museums here are intriguing and he's supposed to be eating more regularly now, so lunch is probably a good idea* I'd love t'come, if ya don't mind? I was just out for a short walk, but that'd be nice.

Oh, the museums are the best place to walk, this time of year - warm, comfortable, beautiful, and no chance of getting rained on.

(He offers him his arm, smiling)

I was headed to the Met.

That does sound pretty invitin'. *He loops his arm into Metody's* An' hey, we did plan t'go t'the Met once upon a time, so this actually works out, right? I been tryin'a go a little further an' further each day. Doin' some exploration.

I was not aware you had taken up clowning, mon cher.

You okay?

I an a veritable comedian.

(He hauls himself to his feet, using the wall, and holds on to it while looking over his clothing)

Well, that was just sunshine and cupcakes.

Well, this will be rewarding exploration.

(They are not so far from the museum. Once they're in, Metody sits for a moment to rummage through his purse for his membership card, and a few moments later, they are in and headed down a beautiful hall.)

What woulda you like to see?

Certainly will be.

*Once there inside, he just stands there in awe, looking around. He's still not used to how big some of these places are*

This whole place's filled with art? Every inch of it?

There is so much that they can't display it all. There are vaults of it below us.

Holy... wow. An' this's just one museum, huh. This place's enormous. *He's just going to spin around and around slowly as he looks* They got a map or somethin'? *He laughs* I feel like this place needs a map.

[He's still smiling, but it's not genuine. When he speaks his voice is low.]

Metody. ARE you okay?

(He looks up from his private anger and refocuses on Jean-Paul.)

- I'm fine. Just a little dizzy.

There are maps! Over...there, in that little stand. Why don't you grab two? Then we can mark off what we've seen, and you'll still have one for a souvenir.

Sounds great! *He's more than a little excited. He's glad to be doing things like this once again, with a much clearer head. He grabs two maps, coming back over, pulling a pen out of his bag as well* Wow they got all kinds'a special exhibits, too.

Yeah, they've got sort of stable exhibits, and then they rotate special exhibits. Want to go to those first? They only stick around for a couple of months. I think they tour museums, kind of like rock stars going from city to city.

Yeah, yeah lets definitely go see those first, then. *He laughs lightly* Museum rock stars. I bet they'd be thrilled t'hear ya call 'em that.
