[She brings him a fresh beer, popping the top off and sitting it down in front of him. Making sure no one else needed anything at the bar, she leaned on the counter and looked at him.]
The Sacred Yew? I have never been. What brought you there, then?
I suppose you can count yourself fortunate at times, lectures are dull. [She chuckles, keeping an eye out along the bar before turning back to him.]
I just started my first semester at New York University, getting prepared for entering pre-med studies then I hope to be accepted to a decent medical school.
[She offers him a halfway, lopsided smile.] Not yet, but maybe some day. Thank you.
[Another louder patron gets her attention down the bar for a fresh drink and she holds up a finger before leaving. She returns a few minutes later, tossing the towel over her shoulder and giving him her full attention again.]

No need. It is part of the job, my friend. [She lifts her head and smiles lightly.]
Can I get you anything else?
no subject

[He was decent conversation, it was nice. Most came and went fairly quickly for their drinks to dance or mingle, some lingered once a while.]
You are a musician or just a hobby?
no subject
It's kind of a hobby, working towards the other. Sell a few CDs here and there... enough for beer money anyway.
