Having a home with Bobby and Jan. Being with you, when times were good I was a lot happier than I've been in a long time. And that made life seem easier in general.

Being reminded of your mortality seems to be helpful in such situations, although I do not take pleasure in having played any part in that.

Previous experience would suggest family does better when they are kept where I cannot hurt them.

I learned as I got older that it's not always easier or best to be alone. I realized the error of my ways when it appeared that I had exiled myself from all of humanity. I hadn't seen another person in over sixty, no seventy years. Quite a long time. I've over the loneliness now.
