No one, Monsieur Lockhart -- I mean -- no one important, at any rate...!
[Just a poor bloke who was driven utterly mad by the Dementors, by the time he was finished with his Azkaban sentence, and thus -- here he is as well, really!]
Oh no... I don't trust anyone to touch my beautiful curls!
Why aren't you wearing a jacket? [Gilderoy is harmless but he tends to wander off and get lost, which is why the healers often put him in a straightjacket.]
In-indeed? And yet -- didn't you just ask me to touch it; to style it for you, in fact? [Oh dearest sweetest LORD, what kind of bunkmate does he have now?!]
[At any rate, he doesn't seem inclined to move from his bed, which might explain why he's not trussed up like a damned Cornish game hen...!]
I... I am not sure, exactly... Sorry...! [And he offers a ghost of a smile, really a pitiful one next to Gilderoy's shining grin!]
[Oh, don't you worry about that, Gil-duh-roy! Matty boy here is so bloody desperate for Light that he has one of those bizarre light-sensing nightlights that turn on whenever the general lighting falls below a certain level! Poor bloke's paranoid about the dark ever since Azkaban!]
I-- I know... but I fear that I might, in fact... Bite, I mean to say... Hahah...!
In spite of the attempt at laughter, it's a humourless sound, unfortunately!]
[Awww! xD ❤ Don't worry, Gil-duh-roy, he was just joking about the biting, after all! Although - truthfully, he wonders if it would be better if he did just take a bite out of someone.... Maybe cannibalism would get him a life sentence in Azkaban, so he could just die quietly, and not be plied with constant cups of chocolate pudding...!]
I'm sorry, I was only kidding -- mostly... Heh...! [And of course this is another weak attempt at laughter, to actually sound amused!] Sorry again... Didn't mean to -- scare you, after all...!
Just someone passing through. [This excursion into the wizarding world to do basic spying is turning out to be interesting. She tilts her head.] Who are you?
I'm... I'm Gilderoy. Gilderoy Lockhart! [Gilderoy looks rather drowsy, he's been working on his joined-up writing all afternoon before they put him back into his straightjacket.
In a hour or two the healers will put him back in bed. He's all smiles when he looks at her.] Are you a fan?
...a little, yeah. Are you okay? You seem tired. [Should she get a healer? Would that blow her cover? She's not sure what to do. He looks disheveled but he seems medicated enough.]
[He gets up and tries to move over to the bed... he could probably use a little help getting around!] I... I'd very much like a nap to become even more handsome.
I'll help you lay down. Don't worry. [She's strong enough to move him, and ponders how to respond to that.] You might hurt yourself with your arms. Just sleep and they'll let you know when it's okay to move around again.
[Gilderoy lets out a happy sigh when he's put in bed, nice and soft with a delightful pillow to rest his head on. He smiles at her, clearly very grateful indeed to be paid some attention.]
Will you tell me a story, dear? Nothing too frightening!
Well, alright. Just one story, and then I have to go.
There once was a boy named Tulok. He was a very smart child, and his parents loved him dearly, but he was often picked on by the other children in the village. He didn't want to worry his parents. They were so kind and he wanted them to be happy. So instead, when the moon was full, he went outside and talked to the moon and looked at it, and he always felt better. When he was hurt the moon seemed to make his bruises and scrapes heal up. Sometimes he thought he could hear the moon whisper to him.
So it came that Tulok grew up, and heard a legend that there was a woman in the moon. She had been a very lonely girl, and had wanted to get away from the world so much that she found a way to leave it. Tulok felt so sorry for her, stuck alone forever, that he went out to talk to her every night, and she began to talk back. They talked about everything, and though it helped, he could tell she was still lonely up in the big, black sky.
And being the smartest man in his village, he set about finding a way to reach her. He loved her, and that love was a powerful magic, and after many years he found a way to the moon where she lived. But his parents missed him, and the night was dark when he and the woman in the moon slept and there was no light in the sky. He wanted everyone to be happy and whole. So he took pieces of the moon and started throwing them into the sky to make stars to light up the sky. That way his parents would always be able to talk to him and things wouldn't be dark. He and the woman in the moon made many stars, of all kinds of shapes and sizes. She wasn't lonely anymore, and when they were done, there were so many stars that everyone in the world could see them.
And they ruled over the moon, and watch over all the kids of the world together to this day, and give them comfort when they need it. And that's how the night sky came to be.
[Gilderoy, despite his limited attention span, makes it to the end of the story before nodding off. That was a lovely story and even made him a little less afraid of the dark~]

He smiles over at him and fidgets with his straightjacket, as much as he can move in it.]
Will you fix my hair? I don't have a comb~! [He can't use his ARMS. He currently looks like this: http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_llfnbwIcQL1qa64cwo1_500.gif ]

[He's obviously NOT in a straitjacket, but -- still, he doesn't particularly relish the idea of touching another man's greasy mop of hair...! lol~]

He smiles brightly, looking over at the younger male again, all vacant blue eyes and dazzlingly white teeth. Not a care in the world anymore~]
You don't look very scary! What- what are you all talking about, dear?
