Then we double our efforts to protect her. You'll have to bring May in on this you know, even though I don't fully trust her. But she's on your team and short of Nat being on protection detail, May is the next best thing.

I know.....I haven't brought her in yet simply because her orders to stop me if I break down are still in effect and I don't want him to hurt her.

I would stop her first, Phil. If it comes down to it, I would kill her in a heartbeat if it meant you lived. I like May, but I would put her down before she got near you. I don't think she knows how much I shadow you, does she? When you're out on ops, I'm usually nearby watching. If she becomes a threat, I'll end her. [Clint's fists were unconsciously clenching open and closed.]

I don't know how you live with the suits, babe. Yeah, you're the boss and wear a suit but you're not a suit like them. They haven't been in the field for years. I'd go nuts if you ever became one. I would have to kidnap you I wouldnt bring you back.

I'd sic Pepper on them, she's terrifying when she gets on a rant and Stark has a freaking team of lawyers.

Hill already has her on the case...but we need someone else. You don't know where Mockingbird is do you?
