Okay, point. Which is why I felt the need to clarify. I mean, it is late afternoon. There is sunlight still. You could choose not to talk to me but obviously you haven't and now I just need to come up with something plausible.

See, that's what I have a problem with. I don't know if we can. I mean, you seem to be the one I need to be following. Not in a weird stalker way. I mean, you're cute but I'm not looking to find out where you live.

There's only so much following a guy -- me -- can take. I mean, you're good, granted. Took me almost a block and a half to figure out who my shadow was. Is. But that's not the point.

Is it weird I'm choosing to take the compliment? I mean, most girls don't pride themselves on their ability to shadow a guy. Most would be happy to hear they have nice hair. But I get it. I do. Being followed is pretty annoying when you're the followee.

Ah, the whole going our separate ways things. It's just... well, you were also back there at that club and you didn't exactly bat an eyelid when Mr Bitey got fang happy with the patrons. Colour me curious.

Yeah, well. You're good. [ Better than, to be perfectly honest, but he's not about to tell her that. One, she's a stranger, and two, she took down a vampire by herself. Of a kind he's never seen before, which means research. As soon as he shakes this young woman.
