She slowly moves over to him, wanting to place a hand upon his shoulder for comfort yet that doesn't happen. Tara already knows it'll just pass through him, being incorporeal had its drawbacks.
"What's going on?"
ooc: Ghost mom it is. Still need to work out some kinks on the au I have in mind for her still being around.
"Wanna talk about it?" There was something to empathize about his words, even if there wasn't much said. She nudges him lightly with her side. Gentle-- not too pushy.
He knows he can't touch her, worked it out he hard way the very first time she'd shown up and he'd tried to hug her - after the initial shock and disbelief at least.
"The usual. More trouble, more angry people... I shouldn't have come home."
ooc: works for me. I'm still working out how I wanna work Thomas out of the club. I was planning on making him follow Tara's footsteps in becoming a doctor, but I don't think he looks like a doctor... Haha
"It's cool. I'm not nosy, I promise." She sighed-- something about her expression emanated stress too. "I just saw you and figured you needed someone to tell you to breathe."
Those words hit her hard, only because after her own return to Charming there had been so many times she'd felt the same way and told herself that coming home had been a horrible idea.
"Elaborate for your mother. Club shit? What's Abel done now?"
"Didn't think you were." He offers a small smile, rummaging in his jacket pocket for his pack of cigarettes. "Family shit, y'know?" He takes one out and offers her the packet.
He watches as she fiddles with the pack, taking a deep drag off his own cigarette and releasing the smoke with a sigh.
"Obviously." There's a half-hearted snort. It's kind of a laugh. "Brother." One who likes to get himself in a lot of trouble and then drags Thomas in to help get his ass out of it again.
"I don't know what to do." He sighs, frowning as he tugs out the cigarette packet from his inside pocket. "If I don't help, he'll just end up in trouble. If I do help, I've given him an in to ask again and again." Which he'd already done; it was why he was in this situation.
"Trouble is this families middle name." She mumbles lowly. This would be one of those times she'd wrap her arms around him, offering him a mother's love and yet she couldn't. "You have to learn to say no, Thomas. As much as it may kill you. You don't want anything to do with the club which is understandable, but you keep helping Abel he'll figure out a way to lure you in."
"What if I say no and he ends up hurt? Or worse? I've already lost you, mum. I can't bury Abel too. I can't." There's a long, silent pause. "Did you say no to dad?"
His question is easily answered by the expression upon her face. "Not, when I should have." She seems to sigh softly seconds later before speaking again. "I can only offer advice Thomas, in the end you're going to have to do what you feel is right."
"I wish you were here." Maybe it'd be easier to stand up to his brother, tell Abel once and for all to leave him out of it if he had the family support. Sometimes it felt like he was alone in wanting nothing to do with MC.
"I wish I was too baby." She would have loved to watch her boys grow up, to help guide them both and perhaps if she'd been around things would have turned out different.

"You look like you need someone to say the same."

Abel was so much like his father that it was a bit scary. The actions he was taking, he was literally shadowing the same thing Jax had once done.

"Hahaha! Do I? It must be the hoodie." It's a joke, you should laugh. "Same. Just-- same. Siblings? Mom? Dad? Entire family?"

"I'm gunna end up helping. I already know it." But pretending he wasn't made it a little better, right?

Tara glanced down with an annoyed groan. All this could have been avoided.
