The love of the masses will do nothing to cure stupidity, kid.

Books and theories don't really do much to make people less stupid. I know some pretty fucking stupid supposedly smart people.

Don't we all. Doesn't change the fact that a basically useless piece of paper will set the tone for how people will treat your level of intelligence.

What people care about is integrity. They want to know you aren't a quitter. That something as stupid as high school wasn't too much for you to handle. Who the fuck wants to be around someone who gives up that easy? Seriously? High school? You can't conquer high school but you'll want people to take you serious as an adult? You'll want someone to put some kind of faith in you at some point and what?

What do you have to offer them as reassurance that you aren't a chicken shit, quitter? You couldn't even manage to get through high school.

[Kavinsky looks entirely bored after the word 'integrity' and instead gives the guy a once over, trying to size him up. Yeah, this guy doesn't look like he got through much of anything at all either. He's the last person who should be lecturing] It's boring. I'm not giving up, I'm just finding better things to do with my time. If they want a diploma, they'll get one. Besides, I'm not working for any stupid corporate fuckheads.
