*running through his training program alone.*
[watches silently from the sidelines. At least he called ahead this time so Malcolm should have been expecting him]
:: And here's Tommy standing on the sidelines; of course, he's mentally calculating the trajectory of all the man's arrows, and even the spread of his feet is affecting the results! It's rather annoying to him, really, and he's pulling a displeased face at the man for messing up his results -- not that he'd admit why he's glaring at him, or even that he IS glaring, in fact ::
Oh Nonsense, I'm never late. [He grins, hands in his pockets as he wiggles side to side.] You're fast with that. [Points to the bow]
Well I might have stopped and picked up dinner...care to join? [grins]
Oh, was that an invitation? [Chuckles because that sounds almost like flirting.] Picked up some pizza fresh out of the oven from New Manhattan, best I've ever had.
Does it involve running? I do love running. [Chuckles and sheds his overcoat and suit coat before taking a seat and opening the pizza box. He'd let Malcolm open the wine.]
[ Rayan's on the sidelines, she actually came to see someone else, but hey stopping in to see Malcolm seemed like a good idea before she pesters Ollie about a few things. Hey at least she's there out of costume so Social call not business! ]
[He plates their dinner before accepting the glass from Malcolm. He smiles back and passes a plate to the man beside him.]
Could be fun, it's a big house after all, lots of places to hide. [He grins cheekily and takes a large bite of pizza.]

I don't recall saying we'd play naked. [grins]
:: And Tommy blinks at the man in confusion, as he turns to stare at him ::
Sorry, what?
Oh, no, sorry... It's nothing, just-- well--
:: And then of course, he decides to be a little bit bolder than he normally is! ::
It's just-- well, could you maybe stop shifting your feet about that way...? I mean, I'm attempting to calculate the trajectory of each arrow, and each one is a little off my own mark, because of course, I cannot work fast enough to take into consideration the position of your feet, changing as they are. I mean, trajectory is essentially a trigonometric equation, and thus-- your legs factor into the equation.

[ She's actually impressed, though his landing's a little off, but hey she's watching from an acrobat's point of view. It's still passable as to not breaking bones so she won't mention it ]
Actually, I just wanted to let you know I was in town so you didn't jump me if I happened to deal with something to get out of going to Queen's fundraiser. [ Because she's supposed to go in Bruce's place, apparently her brothers aren't welcome and of course Bruce is too busy. ]
[ She grinned a little. ] Relax left the cape at home I just didn't want to deal with arrows pointed at me for no reason. Figured best way to do that was to be nice and tell the local costumes why I'm here. Or at least the ones who can be halfway trusted. You're at the top of that list by the way.

Well I do suppose you could strip of you wanted though you might catch cold. Then where would we be? Doubt your daughter would like that too much. [noms the pizza with vigor like he hasn't eaten in a while]
Ahh, I see... Well then. :: And Tommy frowns again ::
I suppose it's sort of pointless to attempt such calculations with a master archer, such as yourself...? :: He then laughs and shakes his own head, at the sheer absurdity of his even trying such a thing, really ::

You know I'm not completely useless. Besides, Bruce thought it would be best to send me he's worried that he over did it last time we both showed up.
Or is this not about night shift type work? [ Because she really doesn't want to be stuck in the stupid party all night even though she told Bruce it would be no problem. ]
