Any particular reason it gained that name, back in the day...? Just out of curiosity, you understand. :: Tommy is, after all, constantly plagued by an insatiable curiosity about the world around him, no matter how little sense it makes to him, outside of course, his NUMBERS ::
Ahh, I see.... Indeed, I suppose it was a dangerous time to be game animals, back in the day... And even now, of course, given that we're still meat-eaters these days...
:: And so sorry, good madam, but: Tommy is just going to "NOPE" away from that "Come Hither" look you're giving him! ::
Ah yes, I suppose that is true... I mean, of course, I do tend towards the more-- domestic side of things, as you put it, as I like to know how the animals I am eating were treated in life...
(( awwww! <3 how sweet! =) anyone Tommy's met yet on here? ))
Oh, no... I mean, I just happen to live in the country-- or close to it, at any rate... I just went vegetarian, in fact, to make sure that i was Not eating any poorly-treated factory-raised animals in America, here. I mean, I'm from the UK, obviously... :: He sounds (and looks) momentarily embarrassed by his accent, which is a bizarre mix of Welsh and southern Briton, with just a soupcon of French to go along with it. ::
(( awwww! =( <3 poor bloke -- or is it a dame? haha! sorry; don't mean to assume at all ))
I like lunar eclipses, and it's an interesting moon to have one on. Plus I haven't had a chance to see one since I moved here. So I'm interested to see what it's like in another place.
[A bit more to that statement than meets the eye. she moved from an entirely different planet. But she's not likely to mention that part.]
Oh, no, I went full-throttle from the beginning. :: And Tommy chuckles a little :: I mean, I still eat cheese, and other dairy-- albeit "organic" of course; I would have gone bloody mad if i'd even attempted to give that up. I mean to say, of course, that it's not quite so hard to give up meat when I do have other forms of "complete" proteins available to me... :: And Tommy is definitely a little flushed at this woman's gasping and gushing over his dietary choices! ::
(( oh no, i understand completely! =) <3 I couldn't help but poke around your journal though, and i think i've found your char's hubby... and no, sadly, i have NOT gotten to play with "a_wicked_pissah" yet... Lol! great username he's got there, though! <3))
And being the eclipse of a blood moon, there may even be an interruption in the hunt. Or the lack of moonlight will make it more difficult for those without nocturnal vision to escape the great hunts.
Good, because I have neough to deal with the super terrorists and the evil spies who wanna blow the world up without getting into supernatural territory. Especially if Halloween's coming up.
Sooo... magic makes the moon go red? I thought that was a cosmic thing.
[Cait doesn't gush. She shows polite interest...] So you're vegetarian not vegan. I've always been quite impressed by those who can maintain the lifestyle.
My Apologies [ He pauses to light up a smoke ] Some particular brand of people are taking it as a sign of an ending. I think something stirs, but not what they believe of course.
