Sorry... I-I didn't think you wanted to share, lady. [ Kenny takes the fork and suddenly he's too embarrassed to eat anything else, though he's still hungry. ]
Y-yeah. [ Ever since he lost his job, Kenny's been living on unhealthy food like noodles and hamburgers... this plate of pasta just looked so good. ]
You're not angry? [ He begins to shovel the pasta into his mouth... so good. He's usually too timid to ask for anything but he couldn't resist taking some. ]
Life too short to be angry. You eat you veggies too. [If he is going to eat her food he is going to eat a good healthy meal, veggies and all. There is a side of grilled asparagus sprinkled with garlic and Parmesan.]
[Kenny gives her a little smile before stuffing his face with the asparagus as well... he'll have a nice full tummy because of this nice lady's generosity.]
What kind of work you look for? [She frowns at that. It makes her sad to think of him being hungry.] You come have dinner with me. I always make too much.
Just anything... I-I didn't finish high school so I'd be happy with any work. I used to work at a grocery store but they started hiring all these young kids and I got fired.
[ Kenny sighs, plucking at his shirt, before grinning. ] Really?
"Oy, you! If you want to eat, order your own thing. The whole bill is gonna be comped, anyway, by my house manager..." Hannah lets out a bit of an exasperated sigh, but she's smiling all the while, as Kenny gingerly picks at her sweet potato fries, almost as if he's not sure whether it would be kosher to dip them back into the same mustard she's been double-dipping her fries in, and thus: EWW GIRLIE COOTIES! She chuckles as that thought comes to her mind, and makes an effort not to broadcast it telepathically, as much as she enjoys sharing a good joke...
