Indeed, and she begins to wonder just who he is referring to by mentioning "the Master" in his thoughts, and just why this "Master" would be so fascinated with a mere telepathic human: a dime a dozen, really, in Hannah's self-deprecating opinion... Nevertheless, she has a strange feeling that there is no two-way communication between the two of them, herself and this-- vampire? Some sort of blood-sucker, at any rate, as far as she can see inside his thoughts-- at least, to judge by the way this-- erm-- vampire seems to be preoccupied by the chatter going on over the "network" of vampiric hivemind... And so, she has to choose her questions carefully, to avoid losing his interest, and becoming his next meal...
