Oh, well, the fastest way has to be already being a scientist, and then embracing some form of psychosis.

Well, there are certain scientifically recognized parameters, though of course the human mind can be much more complex than we've been able to research so far, and once you factor in other influences on the neurological setup, like, say, mutations and inhuman powers, it becomes much harder to work with, of course.

Oh, well, I wouldn't be a scientist if I couldn't handle irrefutable facts.

What kind of analysis would your scan provide?

I can scan for tampering, germs, whether it's past its' due date, poisons, and anything that's gone rotten. I didn't used to be able to do all that but I've been working on being a better camera, so I modified a few things inside me. Now I can help more people than before and go out on Halloween, too!

Hmnh. But this implies that there are very genuine mad scientists, in which case isn't pretending to be one for Halloween something of an insult? It's a little like dressing up as an ethnic minority...

Indeed. Its strange, where I come from this activity no longer exists. I don't understand it's function.

I think that might qualify as beyond Regular Scientist, yes.

Vampire rabbit, perhaps? Or a black cat. Something fuzzy, definitely.

The case could be made. However, it's important to differentiate between fact, as in proper mental illnesses, and the fiction of the criminally insane.

Are you dressing up as any specific, diagnosed mad scientist, or just wearing a labcoat and laughing maniacally at people?

Oh I'd love to do a cat costume! I wonder if my actual cat would go for it.

So what kind of scientist are you on regular days?

I think I'd go with the lab coat and maniacal laughter. Apparently I can be rather scary when I talk about my work anyway.

Well, I'm on duty on a secret base, that has never stopped me.

I do biotech for my time. I've specialized in human and alien life sciences while acquiring my doctorates. What about you?

Heh, life sciences, huh? [She chuckles nervously, hands resisting the urge to fidget. Discussing her career hasn't made her this nervous in a long time, but compared to how progressive Jemma's sounds, Molly feels self-conscious.] I'm...the opposite, actually. I mostly deal with the dead. Post-mortems and pathology, I'm your girl.

Also, now I'm jealous. We used to have this private research facility on this uninhabited island, and it was awesome, but it got completely trashed.

Well, kinda. I mean, I'm solar powered when I'm not connected to a power outlet so as long as I go outside I'm fine. But I wasn't built to do that stuff or talk to people and like things and want stuff. It just happened. I watched a lot of TV and I don't have off hours so I got to think a lot, you know? And... I'm me. It's hard to explain.
