I'm trying to make things easier for Eva, how the heck is that being selfish?! [Ok, so maybe his distraction techniques could be viewed as being a little on the selfish side, but come on, grand tours and local cuisine are totally the best distractions ever]

Do you really thing shielding her is doing her any favors? [Marie takes a sip of her tea, though her eyes never leave Sasha. This meeting has been inevitable since the group got back into town.]

[Sasha has been slightly dreading this meeting being a thing, though he doesn't find Marie as half as annoying as he wanted her to be. Which is... Ok, I will give you that. Kind of shitty just up and disappearing, but don't you think Eva should be the one to decide when he gets those answers?

Look, I love Evie like a sister, but she's had enough time to try to figure things out. She ran because she was afraid of ending up like her momma. But she needs to face her problems.
