What happened?

So much. Too much. Emma doesn't even know it all.

And you can't tell her?

If I tell her, then she'll try and fix it. She needs to save the town, not fix this. She hasn't got time for both.

Ah.

One of those, yes. I don't know how she could fix it anyway.

I'm sure she'd try anyway. And keep on trying. Love is funny that way.

There's only so much good 'keep on trying' would do.

Yeah. I know that one personally.

What's wrong with the town?

There's a spell on the way. When it hits, everyone will see the worst in others and tear each other apart. There will be no one left.

[Rory manages to withhold his initial, rather excited response, of something along the lines of 'neat!'. It's obviously not something that someone should be excited about even though trying to fix and stop that sort of thing is right up his alley.]

Sounds like a dozy of a curse.

[He says curse because really, with that sort of end result, what else could it be?]

It is. There are only a few who are immune. The rest of us are taking precautions.

I hope the precautions are enough.

And you'll need to figure out the way to break the curse. Of course.

((I just randomly realized, what exactly is going to stop Regina from just letting herself out of the vault when the curse hits? I mean, the force field was set up by her so she could just take it down.))

I hope so too.

Emma's immune, so she's one of the ones working on finding a way to break it.

This woman is trying to force them to be family, I don't think she's thought it all the way through.

I mean, if I were going to do it, I'd at least brainwash her first.

She removed some of Emma's memories. Does that count?

Not really. Brainwashing would be more like... making her actually want to do whatever the curse person did.

I'll just be glad that didn't happen then.

Yeah. That's always a good thing.

If she is a hero, then things should work out.

She is. That's been a constant since I've known her.
