[All dressed up.] Am I okay?

You are perfect.

Thanks. Gosh, I feel weird. [She laughed, fixing her hair. She was wearing a little blue dress that hugged every curve in the appropriate places.] I love how you never change, did I ever tell you that?

You may feel weird but you look absolutely stunning. And I don't believe you have.

Well I do. You don't ever have to worry about your looks. And you look really sexy. [She smiles and steals a kiss.] I'll be home late but hopefully not too late.

[Not expecting that he's going to come with her. He is welcome to invite himself, but Tess didn't suggest it because she didn't want him to feel like he had to go to some lame office party.]

And where are you going looking that sexy without me? [Smirks.]

Office party for Andrew's promotion. I didn't think you'd want to come but you can if you like.

Of course I'll go with you. What couples do right?

Only if you want to, Raylan. I figured you weren't one for schmoozing. Or dressing up. [She chuckled but slipped her arms around him.] That said I'll be happy to show you off.

You give me a moment and I'll knock your socks off. [He grinned and leaned in kissing her gently. He went and changed coming back wearing a light colored suit that goes well with the hat. He waits to see if she approves of it.]

[Tess smiles because of course he'd have to coordinate with the hat. That's just such a Raylan thing to do. She leaned in and stole a kiss.] You clean up nicely.

Been awhile since I've worn it. Glad you like it. [He kissed her gently.] Ready to go Darlin'?

Absolutely. [She slipped her hand into his, hoping he wouldn't be put off by the law firm she worked at.] I hope you don't leave me when you see where I work.

Now why would I leave you for that?

'Cause it's the second biggest law firm in Chicago and so not what you're used to. Don't want you to think we're stuck up. [She chuckled.] Although I don't have an office yet. I just have a cubicle.

You are far from stuck up.

I do try. [Grins.] Just don't mention what I did to you last night.

Oh, my lips are sealed. [Grins.]

It's not my fault. You were the one walking around without a shirt on.

I think I'll be doing that more often. Maybe even in just boxers.

God, you're such a tease. [She laughed as she unlocked her car and let them both in.] I'm going to miss this place.

Why do you say that? [He smiled and slipped in with her.]

I figure I'm moving. [She glanced over at him.] You're in Kentucky. And Andrew might not be here either, Frank lives in France so they have to decide what they're going to do.

Who is to say you have to do the movin'?

You'd really want to come here and live with me?

I can easily transfer here. And you wouldn't need give up the job or school.
