[ gosh, hello nice lady! puppet just had to come over and greet her, holding up a big box with a bright red bow tied around it. what's inside? it's a surprise, you have to open it! ]
and yeah, definitely going to regret that. whatever you do, don't put it on, Freddy hates that. in the meantime, puppet's just going to run off and hide behind the prize counter. congratulations on being victim of a prank, mister. ]
Of course, enchanting a puppet is not the typical way to deliver an "anonymous" present in the wizarding world, but still-- Maria does consider it slightly less creepy than those damned house elves, and so she smiles at the marionette. "Awww, aren't you just adorable!" she gushes, before asking, "Is that for me??"
[ hey now, that kind of language is not allowed in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. go wash out your mouth with soap.
fine. fine. puppet stomps off, grabbing the hat to go bring it back to Freddy. this was going to be so much fun, now he has nothing to do. unless he can find a way to lure someone else over. ]
[ it's okay, nice lady! as clever as the puppet can be with his tricks and traps, he has no idea how to make a bomb. so the box is a perfectly normal, innocent and unassuming gift box.
the puppet smiles, rocking back and forth on his tiny pointed feet, eager for her to see what's in the box. don't worry, it won't explode. ]
[Even if it's not going to explode, Tim's still going to open it like it will. Just in case. All while eying the puppet, because it is way too excited about this.]
[ well, lucky enough for her, cake doesn't explode. surprise, there's a piece of birthday cake in the box!
... okay so it's a day old slice of cake so it might not be moist squishy delicious goodness but puppet can only grab what's left over on the tables after parties. he tried? ]
[ goodness no, there's no poison in there. the puppet wouldn't know poison anyway. it's just regular old chocolate cake.
-- oh! the puppet turns and hurries over to a table, picking up a napkin and bringing it over to offer to the nice lady. don't want to get crumbies everywhere. ]
[She's... honestly kind of touched. This is still incredibly weird and surreal, but if this was what it would be like to be a child having a birthday here, she sort of wishes she could have.
Luckily, cake doesn't go bad all that fast, so she can manage a bite without risking anything.]
Eeeee! [It's an ear-piercing, but happy shriek. Are you part of the present, little puppet? She wants to keep you. She makes grabby hands for the box.] Gimmegimmegimme...
[ there's still something missing. the puppet thinks hard for a moment, trying to piece it all together. present, cake (still edible, yay!) napkin ...
oh! he remembers right away, hurrying back over to the table to grab one of the party hats left behind on the table. then he brings it back, offering the hat to her as well. there, now it was complete!
... it's probably not even her birthday but Marionette got excited okay. ]
