Maybe your Thor wouldn't kill you, although Mimir know he forgets his own strength half the time. Less kindly Thors might not need a reason.

Idunn is the goddess of youth, and the fruit of her garden grants immortality.

I never hated mortals. Pitied them or found them entertaining sometimes, but compared to the Aesir 'mere' mortals are wonderful.

But I spent eight years as a milkmaid for a mortal's sake, until Odin found me and killed him. Norns forbid he spare anyone for the crime of making his scapegoat happy.
