[Did Charlie really expect that she would be able to get out of drills without Owen noticing. Really, everything depended on all four of his girls being together. When she didn't show, he dismissed the others and went to look for her.

It was easy. Owen knew the girls well enough that he knew their hiding spots. So, she should be expecting when Owen found her.]

[Charlie's hiding spots varied. Today she was tucked away in the corner of the Arcade on Main Street -- people watching and slowly sucking away at a giant blue slushie.]

[Normally when the girls skipped out, they hid. Tucked themselves away somewhere where it was almost guaranteed that it would take people half the day to find them. But today, Charlie wasn't even trying. She had simply decided to stay home. And so she was laying across her bed, watching Netflix.]
