[She was barely an adult and likely less in terms of immortality but after everything she had been through she certainly felt much older then her twenty years. Still, perhaps it was not so awkward, she remembered asking things like this when she was fairly small and likely not too much younger then the girl standing before her so she had no real way of gauging what had been normal for a child either way. Ara looked down at her, studying her with a pair of very sad dark blue eyes though her face remained stoic.] Why are you asking about these things and how do you know that?
[Lynn was still young in years, but knew a lot more than anyone should about certain subjects.] Someone that I know had a death in their family, and won't stop crying, and it's just something that I know. But I don't wanna scare you.
[That would make two of them.] Many people are familiar with death, losing someone important to you is going to be difficult. Scare me? [Not likely. Why would that scare her? She was afraid of more things then she was willing to admit but it would take more then just those words.] Empathy would be more suitable.
The dead people aren't really lost because they're ghosts, and people are
scared of ghosts. [ Lynn folds her arms, almost certain that the woman will
tell her ghosts don't exist or that she is being creepy] I'm gonna have to
try empathy on people, thanks.
People get sad because all the things that could have been, can't happen. It's why we say 'Live life to the fullest' so you regrets missing out of less.
I think I understand but it's still not a reason to be really sad. Because
you can do those things and remember that the person who died might be glad
that you did it. Or if you hated them you can brag and no one would care.
Yeah, maybe - but that'd be a damn morbid subject. I don't find it hard to understand, but humans don't know what happens to them afterwards. And what they don't know, they fear and even loathe.
I know, I owe tags, the wee one is being a butt.
It's okay :)
Thanks, will have them soon.
No rush, take your time. Muses can be stubborn.
Yeah they can. lol

It's what they do.

You could always die and have someone bring you back before it's permanent.
