We talkin' Demons who have never technically been alive? Or Zombies and Vampires that once counted themselves among the living? Or something else altogether?
Only a little. We're not undead like they are. We don't have to drink blood. But bright lights still bother most of us and we look enough like them that everyone seems to think... I can't help that a vampire attacked my mother.
[It's a bit of a relief to hear that they don't drink human blood. Dutch's frightened expression softens slightly when she hears that a vampire attacked his mother.] No, I guess you can't. Sorry. That's a raw deal you got there.
[ Dutch frowns. ] Is that a thing you're very used to? Assumptions like that? [ It bothers her because she tends to be a shoot first, ask questions later kind of person. ]
